At $10, this is a nice, cheap, easy alternative to purchasing a second adapter. The MagSafe2 interface is, of course, different. Rather than buy another adapter if you already have a few around from previous MacBooks, this is an easier way to reuse them. It just snaps on!

I needed this for my Mac Pro charger to fit into the slot in my comp.

I purchased this quick charger because someone in my office “borrowed” mine without asking, if you follow me! This one is a perfect replacement.

I bought this when the cord to my MBA brick stopped working, so I could use the charging brick we already had with our MBP. Very easy to use and worked perfectly to charge my MBA every time. When I want to charge the MBP, I just take the adapter off with no issues.

Does what it's designed to do. Just hope I don't loose it as it's kind of small.

I have no idea why Apple designed MagSafe 2 to not be compatible with MagSafe 1, but they did. Thus the adapter. It snaps to the MagSafe 1 charger pretty well, which then you can snap the whole assembly to your MacBook.

this little adapter has saved me lots of time - I was able to use all the old magsafe1 chargers I had to use on any of the magsafe2 computers I had - never had to move a charger, because with this adapter, I had plenty of functional chargers using all the old ones, one for the home, one for the office, one for the living room, etc. Now this doesn't adapt any more to the newest usb-c power cords, but I found another adapter for that, and still have all my conveniences. I really appreciated it during the magsafe2 era, and still use it for all my older computers,

The adaptor is perfect for the older adaptor. Stays connected to the charger.

Works perfectly to charge the new Macbook Pro with the old charge cord. No issues.

Great item to have if you have multiple Mac book pros but different models/years.

My options were to purchase this adapter or purchase a 2nd power brick since had left mine at work. I opted for this option to use with my older power brick and it worked great. I only used it when my laptop was turned off though and for short periods of time since my older brick is smaller and I was concerned about it overheating. This in no way is the fault of the converter though.

This is wonderful to use for a MacBook Air when have a Macbook Pro Adapter.

Adapter worked just as it stated it would. This was much cheaper than buying a new charger and much easier to use than carrying a bulky charger around. Adapter fit securely over the end of older Apple computer charger and works great!!

Works well. Magnet is nice and powerful. Don't know what else to say about it.
