I use this adaptor on my old Mac Air charger works perfect. No need in paying for another charger

Like many people, I had an old Magsafe power adapter lying around and wanted to save some $ -- and save the environment -- before buying a new Magsafe 2 adapter. This is exactly what I needed, and I was glad to find it at Best Buy!

A couple of these $10 adapters saved me a lot of money when I upgraded from a 2011 MacBook Pro to a 2014 version with the new power cord (not sure why it was changed as I definitely liked the old one better). I have the adapter on the old cords in two different offices and it all works fine.

Got this for my 13" MBP Retina Late-2013 model because I was having trouble tracking down an OEM MagSafe 2 charger after my old charger died. This has been working great as a replacement along with an older original MagSafe charger.

These little adapters are easy to lose. I wish they were a little bigger. They work great and never fail.

Cheap and stays sturdy with the original MagSafe power plug from the Aople Cinema LED display.

I have several of the older style MagSafe power supplies for my MacBook Pro. I also have a MacBook Air that requires the MagSafe2 power supply. With this handy little magnetic converter I no longer need to pack both power supplies when I travel.

The adapter works great. I do not have to have two power cords for my MacBook and MacBook Air.

Quality product. I expect to never have to replace this unless I lose it. It would have been a lot better if it had come with a loop or something to tie it to your charger, that way it won't get lost when changing between charger types.

I got a new MacBook Pro and went in to see if I could find an addition power source and found this mag adapter. It is perfect and I like I can use the old type1 with the side barrel as it is much cleaner on my desktop sending the cord out the back instead of straight out the side of the laptop.

I love it. Being able to use my older macbook's power adapter for the new one was a big relief!!

I still don't see the point of making MagSafe2 -- it seems inferior to the older MagSafe since it is SOOOOO much easier to accidentally disconnect (for a fix, look for the "Snuglet" by Newer Technology). But the adapter does totally work.

What a great idea! We were facing buying a 70.00 charger. My daughters charger was not compatible with her Macbook Air. Found the adapter and it worked. Honestly surprised Apple would have something that doesn't cost $50.00. Well done.

The only problem I have with them is it is easy to lose them, which is why I'm purchasing more.

Nice device, but annoying that Apple is constantly changing their power supply devices. Left new Macbook power supply at my brothers and had an old power supply for a previous Macbook, and this allowed me to get them to work together.

It is nice to have this on a trip so I can hook to another power adaptor while away vfrom home

I bought this adaptor in hopes that it will make my old MacBook Pro charger work with my 2015 MacBook Pro that I bought so I could keep one for on the go and the old one for at home and it has worked as I thought!

Of course Apple has to change their laptop power cords every few years... So when I got a new MacBook, my cord from my old MacBook no longer worked. Great to be able to use a $10 converter instead of buying another AC Adapter...

Is the only adapter that allows you to connect old magsafe chargers to the new macbooks. More pricey than I feel it needs to be, but then again, it is an Apple product. Otherwise works as expected (again, it is an Apple product)
