My newer MacBook charger was not working, but I had my previous older charger. This adapter saved big bucks and everything works normally.

Having a couple of Mac laptops each with different size mag safe connections is a pain - this made it to charge my laptops without have to switch out the adapters.

After misplacing the charger for my new MacBook Air, I purchased this to allow me to charge with an old MagSafe power supply. What a great money saver!

Great when you have both old and newer magsafe MacBook Pros. It's helpful only having to carry around the newer power adapter and use this converter.

Does what it's designed to do. Converts my magsafe adapter to a magsafe 2 size. Have it just it case power supply is forgotten or goes belly up.

Thought it might be prone to fall off the adapter but it tends to stay on just fine. Nice solution for the charger compatibility problem.

I hate when an ac adapter changes in the slightest of ways. Great alternative for adapters that were low use back ups.

Exactly what I needed. Got a new MacBook Air and this saved me from having to but a second power supply for home. I just use this to adapt my old backup supply.

I bought this to allow me to use a 60W MagSafe 1 charger I found for the 2008 MacBook plastic model, so I could preserve my actual 60W MagSafe 2 charger for my MacBook Pro. The adapter fits without problems. Connection is seldom an issue, sometimes it won't go from green to amber as soon as I plug it in.

Purchased this to convert my original Magsafe charger to Magsafe 2. Works great! Snug fit that does not easily come apart. No issues.

This is great we don't use is much because our old mac still use their old cables but when we need it when traveling with multiple machines this is very convenient

I lose these all the time so it’s good to have a back up. Now time to upgrade

You have to have this adapter for your MacBook Pro that is only a year old. They have discontinued the old power cord for some undisclosed reason. This adapter does work well enough and never separates from the main NEW power cord, but Apple did not send a reason for the switch that I can find. Annoying, but we must move on...
