Very handy and useful. I had a few old MagSafe chargers lying around, now I can use them with my RetinaPro using this.

This product allows you to use older power cables. It makes the attachment to the computer slightly bulkier however its not a big deal.

Used it to connect my 85W Apple charger to my MacBook Air 13. 1 charger for 2 Apple laptops. Great price.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Allow you to use an old magsafe power adapter with a magsafe 2 Mac. Not much else to tell.

We had an extra MacBook power brick around that met the requirements for my wife's MacBook Air, but had MagSafe1 connection. When the lockdown hit and we set up a work area for her, this adapter allowed us to have one power brick in her work area and another in a relatively distant part of the house so she didn't have to completely tear down when moving between them. It may sound stupid, but it's one less hassle twice a day.

Way better than buying a new charger! We just keep the dongle on our macbooks since it’s so small.

Bought this as an open box item at Best Buy. Takes your old MagSafe adapter and turns it into one that's compatible with the current line of MBPs. As always with Mac products the price is a bit steep for what it is but then again it's better than having buy a completely new MagSafe 2 charger.

Needed to replace charger on new macbook, and this allowed me to use the one from previous macbook version at a much cheaper price.

I wanted two have 2 chargers - 1 for my docking station and 1 that I could take with me. This worked great to convert my old charger.

My daughter was spending time to help me after surgery working from my place and her MacBook Pro charger stopped working. Trying to find a quick and affordable way to replace it we realized that we still had an older one from her previous model that was the same watts but had a different plug. Best Buy had this in stock for store pick up and saved her from missing a deadline at little cost until the replacement was processed by Apple. With this she now has a easy & inexpensive back up.

Great item for your MacBook tool kit. Had a power cord go bad and this was handy to charge my MacBook from an old magsafe charger.

This silly little adapter has allowed me to use my old MacBook power supplies on my newer MacBook and MacBook Air. I now have a couple of power supplies in different rooms and this is much cheaper than buying a new power "brick". I have used these for a number of years and I cannot see any difference between the new power "brick" and the old one.
