    Helps save about 70 bucks so not bad. Pretty ok device I guess don't really know why they changed it to MagSafe 2 MagSafe 1 was fine.

    recently upgraded to the macbook pro 13" retina, which uses the Magsafe 2 connector. this little device allows me to use my spare charges at home/office. the device is small but does allow for the chargers cord to stick out a bit from the laptop. no issue as long as the laptop is in one place.

    I always hate when mac changes connections, but at least they make reasonably priced adaptors - this makes your old power supply work with your new mac. I keep it with me in the event I ever forget my power supply I know anyones mac power supply will work - good buy!

    I bought this as a make do situation. My wife's cord for her MacBook Air became nonfunctional. We used this adapter to use the cord from her old MacBook. It works and she can keep using her MacBook Air until we get a new cord or repair the bad one.
