I had an old power cord from a now defunct computer which would work if only the connector hadn't changed. This adapter fit the bill and now I have an extra cord for my laptop!

This was perfect for what I needed. Allowed me to charge my newer MacBook with and older charge cable a friend had when I was out of the f town recently. Cheapest Apple item I have ever seen!

Purchased for our adaptor of an older laptop with a newer cord. Happy with our purchase. Find it to be a little expensive for an adaptor piece.

Apple had to change the way the power supplies connect.. the power supply seems no different because I can use any ops supply I have with these.. they do work.

I have the charger from an older mac. This serve its purpose. Pricey but it works. I used tape so it doesn’t come off accidentally.

There is no real permanent substitute for the regular charger. Mine had a frayed wire and a fix was needed before payday. So this was a great inexpensive alternative.

Converter did well and now I can use my old charger. Whoop whoop!

Wow great adaptor for $10. Had an old MagSafe but needed the new one because my power cable is lost. Better than spending $100 on a new cable

Snaps on magnetically and feels secure enough to actually stay on. Great way to save some money if you have old mac power charger and do not want to invest into a new one.

This is one of those "begrudging buys". You need it, don't have any alternatives. It's only $10, but then again, it's "only a tiny little widget" ... so you pay the silly price. Then again, if your cord breaks and you've only old MagSafe power bricks ... it sure beats the $70 it'd take for a new one. Buy on "accessory sale".

This is a very inexpensive adapter to have on hand if your charger goes out, chances are someone close by will have one to borrow and may require this tip
