I purchased this thinking it was the other way around... my bad! It's great if you have an old Mac charger that you want to use on a newer MacBook. I unfortunately had an old charger that went bad and wanted to use my newer charger with it.

Owning many Macs, I have plenty of chargers laying around. However, with the change in the magsafe chargers to the newer version, the old chargers became obsolete. This little adapter solves that issue and makes all my chargers usable. Easy to use and effective.

I was shopping for a second charger for my macbook when I discovered this. I ended up purchasing this in store and was able to utilize an older charger I had from my previous macbook. It could possibly be the cheapest product with an apple logo on it.

Apple created a new charger port on their computer, thanks Apple. Simple product, works well.

After my MagSafe 2 adapter died, I purchased this adapter for use with an old charger. Used for solid 2 months out of necessity until new charger arrived and the adapter worked great. I still use it occasionally. Good product. Note that even with this adapter, you still need correct wattage charger for your Mac. A 45w charger should not be used with an 85w MacBook, as you risk fire or damage to the computer.

Works flawlessly and it's only $10 bucks!!! It is well made and the magnet is very strong.

This converter was a much cheaper alternative to buying a whole new power adapter for my MacBook Pro. It is simple to use and works great with the older power adapters I already had.
