Cheap way to avoid buying another MagSafe2 adapter

The MagSafe2 interface is, of course, different. Rather than buy another adapter if you already have a few around from previous MacBooks, this is an easier way to reuse them. It just snaps on!

very useful for the prior power connectors
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this little adapter has saved me lots of time - I was able to use all the old magsafe1 chargers I had to use on any of the magsafe2 computers I had - never had to move a charger, because with this adapter, I had plenty of functional chargers using all the old ones, one for the home, one for the office, one for the living room, etc. Now this doesn't adapt any more to the newest usb-c power cords, but I found another adapter for that, and still have all my conveniences. I really appreciated it during the magsafe2 era, and still use it for all my older computers,

Does what it's supposed to!

Very easy to use and worked perfectly to charge my MBA every time. When I want to charge the MBP, I just take the adapter off with no issues.

No reason it should exist, but it works

Thus the adapter. It snaps to the MagSafe 1 charger pretty well, which then you can snap the whole assembly to your MacBook.

Better than spending $$ on a new power brick

I opted for this option to use with my older power brick and it worked great. I only used it when my laptop was turned off though and for short periods of time since my older brick is smaller and I was concerned about it overheating. This in no way is the fault of the converter though.

This was much cheaper than buying a new charger and much easier to use than carrying a bulky charger around. Adapter fit securely over the end of older Apple computer charger and works great!!
