When visiting my son I realized I had forgotten to include my laptop charger when I packed,this converter saved the day.easy to use ..

At first I was like wth because I didn't know they stop making MagSafe for MacBook pros and knowing I had to spend another $10 for this piece was like wth. But gladly the BB rep told me because I need it for my Mac. And the apple rep at the Apple Store didn't even know.

Great item to have on hand even if you have a newer power supply. Helps ensure you will be able to use any MagSafe power supply.

The power source to my 2013 MacBook stopped working, and I had my old power source for my 2007 MacBook that worked but didn't fit my newer MacBook. With this MagSafe converter I avoided paying over $70 for a new power source. It is small and convenient, but also prone to lose it if not careful.

So I had gotten a replacement cord for my mac and it didn't fit. got this wonderful adaptor and it fits and works perfectly.

After upgrading my older MacBook Pro to a MacBook Air, I was disappointed to discover that the MagSafe connector on my older device didn't fit the newer one. I had a permanent power connection by my chair, and another in the bag. However, with the MacBook Air not fitting, I thought I'd need to purchase a second MagSafe 2 compatible power cord. This adapter meant I didn't need to shell out $80 for the convenience of a second power cord. I keep my new adapter in my travel bag, and simply use this adapter to make my old one work.

Reliable and easy to use. A little on the pricey side for such a small adapter; guess that is true for most Apple items.

I needed a converter for my MacBook charger and this piece attached to my old charger so it was usable with my MacBook! Saved me about $60!

This is a great alternative to having to buy a new charger. Works great with my old charger and charges my MacBook without any problems.

My son forgot his charger in another city, and we had two of the "wrong kind" of MagSafe chargers. We were about to overnight a new one, but our local BestBuy to the rescue - they had this little gadget in stock. We took the laptop and the other charger to the store, and the cashier let us quickly try it. The little green light came right on! For a quick fix, this came in really handy, and $10 instead of $60.

This is something I had not used before but it turned out to be quick and easy to use. Glad I purchased it.

The converter works fine but it is awkward, and I don't see any particular benefit to the new style. The biggest trouble with it is that it is really easy to lose since it can fall off when you move the computer and there is really not anywhere to store it. Which is why I had to buy a replacement one for my lost one. I have older MBPros that use the old power supply and would have preferred my new MBP to have the same one so all of them could use the same power supply.

Cheap and works well no problems yet and have been using for about a year

Having been a MacBook user for many years, I have accumulated many power cords from previous models. This little adapter saved me from having to buy multiple new power cords and allowed me to reuse my legacy cords. My only complaint is that I often lose the adapter in my briefcase during travel.

I went into our local Best Buy to get a new cord for my Airbook. They were out of the one I needed to get some work done but the associate was able to identify what needed to be replaced and this was the part I needed. Saved me some money!

You need this adapter on Mac laptops, but some power supplies don't have it, so you need to buy it. It's easily installed right out of the box.

What else more can I say? I bought this for my MacBook Pro so I can use the thunderbolt display's charger. The adapter is very sturdy, yet easy to snap off. In other words, it is everything I expected from a MagSafe adapter.

It's great for my Macbook Pro 13" Retina and Thunderbolt Display combo. I had just lost the MagSafe-to-MagSafe 2 Converter that came with my Thunderbolt Display and had to get a new one. Luckily Best buy had it in stock.

Worked well converting old MacBook charger cord to new. Much cheaper option than buying another cord.

This adapter was the perfect solution for my old MagSafe charger! Works perfectly with my MacBook Air and so far I've had no issues!
