The cord I bought for my computer did not fit but with the adapter it worked great. I can always count on Best Buy!

My charger on my macbook pro stopped working. I have an older macbook with a different charger. This attachment cost me $10 and allowed me to use the older model charger instead of spending almost $80+ on a new charger. Highly recommend for similar situations

This adapter is needed if you have any old MacBook Pro chargers. It's annoying, but this adapter does the job.

No need to buy a separate power adapter - this little guys does exactly what it's supposed to - allows you to use old Magsafe power adapter on new Magsafe computers. Perhpas not as elegant looking as the new power adapter but a good solution for using those extra old adapters for newer Macs.

This is an awesome and inexpensive adapter. The only downside is that eventually no older devices will be left that need it. However, I still have an iPod chugging away from about 10 years ago! Hopefully it will continue that way for years to come.

I was going to buy a new power plug for my MacBook Pro and stumble onto this little guy. Since I have an older plug I was able to use this and convert it to the new one. 9.99 vs 89.99. Need I say more.

This charger is reliable. You need to be careful not to bend it to often or it fails to connect over time.

When I left home without my 13" MacBook Pro charging unit I went to Best Buy In Carmel, IN for a replacement. At first an exact replacement was not in stock but the salesperson recommended the Magsafe2 Converter which worked perfectly. Excellent service.

I love that there is a way to use old power packs with newer laptops. It also gives me more places I can have plugs to keep my device charged. This adapter works great and doesn't come off easily, so no worries about losing it.

What would I do without these. Having more than one Macs means I have more than one Power cord in more than one location. This adapter is a lifesaver when the wrong cord is in the wrong place. I also love that they’re magnetic. Makes it harder to lose.

This thing will save you money if you have the MagSafe 1 and need the 2! Works exactly like its suppose to. Magnets are strong and to be expected. Would advise to try and find something to attach to the this to keep it from getting lost.

This is an excellent buy. No need to buy a separate charger. I use it for my macbook pro 15inch 2014.

This is the smartest smallest thing Apple has ever made. I don't have to buy two or three more adapters (for $80 each) for my product and trash my old ones. This is great for my pocket and great for the environment because the chargers that work perfectly fine don't end up in a land fill. Thanks Apple!

This is a great converter piece by Apple, it will turn your older apple power cord into an all new cord!

Item works great. It's too bad that the older power adapters do not work with the Retina Display Macs.

Purchased to permit a second charger (from an earlier MacBook Pro) to be used with new 15" MacBook Pro.

I have upgraded my macbook pro a couple of times now and accumulated a perfectly functioning charger each time. I carry this and an old charger with me at all times now and did not have to buy a new charger. Magnet is very strong and stays on while being shuffled around in my bag.

these are great cause you don't have to purchase an entirely new charger. wish they had more in stock

It is annoying that I needed to purchase this in order to continue working with my Apple monitor :(
