We have a MacBook Air and MacBook laptop. I thought they used the same charger but do not. Bought this piece at Best Buy and now we can take both our laptops with us and one charging cord

Convenient since I have lots of the old adapters from traveling.

I purchased this converter because I wanted to use my older Macbook power cord to charge a newer Macbook model for which I did not have a power supply. This is a useful product that satisfied my need.

I needed to connect my Apple MacBook Pro to the Apple extrenal monitor. Great item. It charges the notebook without more cords cluttering the desktop.

I didn't even know that there was such an adapter for my MacBook so this saves me from buying a 2nd adapter for the laptop.

Great addition to your apple regimen. If you are an apple user and have an older charger sitting around this will make it functional. So worth the price to be able to have 2 functioning chargers just in case!

If you are looking to add an extra charger for work, you can buy the Magsafe 1 and then buy this adapter to save you money. The adapter clicks into the magsafe charger and stays connected as if it were 1 piece.

Much cheaper and easier alternative to buying an entirely new cord. Works great--the only small snag is that you need to be careful not to lose it, but I just leave it on the end of my charger cable at home--it is magnetized, so it is not that easy to lose, but it's also a small piece, so it is just being mindful of that. Haven't lost it yet, and happy with my purchase. I just switched from an older MacBook Pro to a brand new MacBook Air, which meant my spare charger (for home and travel) was obsolete. I really didn't want to spend $70 on a new one just for use as a spare, so I'm glad I stumbled upon this adapter. It fits perfectly and I've experienced no issues so far. I consider it $10 well spent!

This piece was out savings grace! I had my old MacBook charger and needed to convert it to fit my husbands newer MacBook, and it worked like a dream! Best 10$ ever spent!

Tired of all of the different adapters on the market? Trying to keep track is difficult but this adapter brilliantly utilizes what you already have to the upgrades that you will need!

This a nice product that can save money, it allows to older Apple power supplies with new apple computers instead trashing your old power supply.
