I've an older personal MacBook and a new one as my work laptop. This adapter allows me to use my old MacBook charger with my work laptop.

I had a macbook pro charger and bought air too. I would like to use my pro charger with air too. I found this and works really well :))

This is great we don't use is much because our old mac still use their old cables but when we need it when traveling with multiple machines this is very convenient

Purchased this so my work computer can hook up to my Apple Thunderbolt Display . Works perfectly.

You have to have this adapter for your MacBook Pro that is only a year old. They have discontinued the old power cord for some undisclosed reason. This adapter does work well enough and never separates from the main NEW power cord, but Apple did not send a reason for the switch that I can find. Annoying, but we must move on...

I have an older 2010 Apple laptop as well as a 2013 Apple MacBook Air. Since Apple changed the size of the charging adapter, I needed to carry two cords with me. With the Magsafe-to-Magsafe 2 Converter, I found I only needed one cord again. The magnetic Converter attaches to the smaller and older cord and instantly begins to charge the new MB Air computer. It is very easy to attach and remove. I would suggest you design a solution to keep it close since it is small and could be easily lost. A great money saver since you can use your older chargers and carry only one with you.

This is perfect and makes it very easy to charge your laptops without having to change the converters every time. Definitely recommend.

Works great to convert and old charger to the new port for a newer MacBook Bro. Strong magnet keeps it attached so you don't lose it.
