So far its been simple and worked well. My old plug now works with my new MacBook. Nice to have a second plug for only 10 bucks.

My daughter was spending time to help me after surgery working from my place and her MacBook Pro charger stopped working. Trying to find a quick and affordable way to replace it we realized that we still had an older one from her previous model that was the same watts but had a different plug. Best Buy had this in stock for store pick up and saved her from missing a deadline at little cost until the replacement was processed by Apple. With this she now has a easy & inexpensive back up.

I wanted two have 2 chargers - 1 for my docking station and 1 that I could take with me. This worked great to convert my old charger.

Nothing to it, just plug Magsafe to back of adapter. That's it. Simple solution to use current cable.

It is a good accessory to enable use of the old charger cord. My only hesitation is that the magnet is strongest on the computer end and remains there instead of on the cord end. I'm always afraid of losing it since it is so small. Also, for an Apple product it is reasonably priced.

it has a strong magnet, so it's not easy to disconnect. it also slaved me from spending more money an an extra power cord.

This is easy to use and works great. Theres always a good connection because of the strong magnet and it charges great.

The dongle is a required item if you have a new macbook pro but only have an older charger It is a life saver.

Well, all I can say is all the larger $100 a piece adapters can now be used on the new MagSafe2 laptops. Works very very well.

I idid not know there was an adapter for MacBook air, so it was cheaper than buying the magsafe, im happy now!
