I bought this so that I could use my gen1 charger with a new mac, and this worked as advertised. Small profile but sometimes drops off easily

This adaptor enables older MacBook chargers (L style) to be used on newer MacBooks (T style).

This works great for my new MacBook air. I needed an adapter that would connect my old power cable to my new MacBook Air. This works great and saved me money.

This product is a lifesaver. After forgetting my charger at my parents house out of town, I managed to buy this little converter so I could use an old power plug instead of buying a whole new charger cable. Very easy to use, just place it on old cable and plug it in. Done!

I forgot my power adapter at home while I was on travel. There was a spare older model power adapter that I could use, so I needed this adapter for it to work with my MacBook. This was way cheaper than buying a whole new adapter, and it worked just fine.

very small adapter, easy to loose, but its a requirement to hookup to my thunderbolt apple display to charge my MacBook 2015

worked just as planned. there are 3rd party ones around that may be cheaper but you get what you pay for

Helps adapt for some of the newer macbooks. However, as its small, the item can get lost easily so store with caution.

I like it it does it’s job nothing special but I needed it for my laptop it’s a2013 MacBook Pro retina and they don’t make the same watt charger with the connection

Great option for failed cord. The current design for Apple cords fail (my second cord to fail). But the old design I have still works great and this adapter allows me to use it on my current MacBook.

Wonderful invention. I was able to save a lot of money by purchasing this from best buy and being able to use my old charger for my New computer.

I HATE the new MagSafe 2 power bricks, specifically the T style connector. Which is where this product comes in, I love the L style connector of the MagSafe 1 bricks, so I purchased one of those, and this adapter. Combined they give me what I wish Apple would give me from the factory.

Shockingly, this adapter was priced at under $10. This is unheard of in the Apple world and it does what I need it to do.

Why does Apple torment its loyal fans with all these fiddly little adaptors? New chargers look identical to the old one, but slightly don't fit. So you have to buy another charger or carry this thingy around. And is there one to allow a new charger to charge your old macbook? Nooo! Old chargers are better, since the cable comes off the side and is less likely to be broken by flexing too often at the join. The new ones are like the very first MagSafes, connecting square-on and with no strain relief to protect the internal wires.

This is a genuine apple adapter and seems to work well. I've been using it for over a year now and never had any problems with it.

My MacBook Pro's charger has a MagSafe2 connector that failed. This adapter makes the original MagSafe connector from my previous laptop usable, and saved me the cost of a new charging unit.

Who knows why the engineers decide to make a change like they did with the newly designed MagSave connector. But, they did. I had recently purchased an additional power supply for my old (2008) MacBook Pro. This clever little adapter allows me to use that adapter when needed.

Bought this along with a MacBook Air so I could use older Magsafe power adapters with it. I think it was a bit pricey at $10, but for essentially adding a power adapter I can use it's worth it. Funny thing is, I barely use it because the MacBook Air has such great battery life.
