Worked great on my 2015 MacBook Pro. I had to purchase a 85w power cord.

These adapters are great. They work perfectly and cost a whole lot less than a new power adapter. I can use my old macbook pro power adapters.

I keep extra items in my leather bag for meetings. It's one of those things someone may have forgotten and its just pleasant to say, no worries, I have one in my computer bag.

Solid product that is durable and gets the job done! Recommend for Apple customers that have an older style MBP and the newer MBPR!

I personally don't need this item. BUT, like carrying a Band-aid in your wallet... this isn't about me... it's about a stranger. A person you've not yet met that has MagSafe 2 that needs a charge. Well, you're a hero now, congratulations.

It's an adapter; does the job, cheaper than nearly $100 for the apple magsafe 2 if you already have an old charger cord

Serves its purpose and allows me to use my old charger. Easy to lose when disconnected though, so be careful.

With Covid 19 we needed another way to access the internet for our kids school. This allowed us to keep an old computer running so everyone in the house could be online at the same time.

Product works fine. The only reason for 3 stars is because this is the second time we have had to replace this attachment. The magnet seems to wear off over time.

I was planning to buy 2 MagSafe Chargers, until I found out about this. I just bought 1 mag safe Charger plus this and voila, I can charge both my macbook pro and macbook air.

As with any Apple product this little puppy works like a charm. It's nice to have extra power adapters now that will work with my newer Mac. The only word of caution is to make sure that nothing metal like a staple get stuck to the magnet.

Really didn't want to spend the money for a second power supply for my laptop to use at home (vs the one at work I have to crawl under my desk to reach) - this let me adapt the power supply from my old laptop at a fraction of the cost.

Apple mag safe to mage safe 2 was a life saver, it saves me money from buying the actual mage safe 2. If you have the mage safe 1 then you don’t have to buy another charger for the MacBook Air. I love the converter

worked great - forgot my charging cord when I was away and this converter allowed me to use a different charging cord without buying a new charging cord for my iMac

This converter has saved my laptop multiple times already after I or my family have tripped on the power cord running to my Mac. I think this is something all manufacturers should consider in the future.

It works as expect. Only buy it if you need it. So now you know. And knowing is half the battle. Yo Joe!

The amazingly helpful sales person suggested this when they didn't have the power cord I needed but did have an older model cord. Sales person looked it up on line to find out which I needed and made everything good again for me!

When I bought a newer MacBook it has a different Magsafe plug than the previous one. I was not looking forward to replacing the second power cord I used for travel. This was an inexpensive solution. Works great. Problem solved.

Did what it was designed for and would definitely recommend it to a friend .

effing Apple - why'd you have to go and change the shape of the power connector in going to the Retina Display? Note that this is not a completely dumb device.It apparently has springs inside, because I had another one that no longer worked correctly.
