Good Work Around to Use Spare Older MagSafe Charge

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A “Dog at My Homework” type of situation arose, leading me to look to replacing my MagSafe 2 Charger. But, after some researching and having a like new original MagSafe Charger in my possession - this $10 spend for the converter instead of $80 for a new charger has me charging my Macboook Air once again. And, waste not / want not - nice to use something already in my possession from a prior system. Brought me back to some feels - when Apple still stood behind the build of their devices and were sturdy enough to repair / upgrade your old system instead of heaping up the electronic waste these days.

Keep The Old Charger, Too!

This magnet attaches to my old charger and then fits the new MacBook Air perfectly. For only $10.00, this device keeps me with 2 functioning chargers, both old and new.

Saved me big time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 2008 24" apple Cinema Display and it has the combo usb/display/MagSafe cable built in but when I bought my retina macbook the charger part wasn't made for it, thought I had to run an additional cable to charge the laptop while dual screen editing.. This easily fixed it for 10$, worth every penny

Inexpensive Adapter

I used this with an existing MagSafe 85Watt adapter that I had for my MacBook Pro without having to buy a whole new adapter..cheap and simple solution.
