Had a long 20+ hour trip planned and no way to hook phone up to radio, bought this little guy at the start of the trip and downloaded audio books on my phone. Worked great, had a few spots during the trip I had to switch stations in higher radio activity areas, but most of the time worked very well. I know these things are regulated on how strong they can be but this fit my needs and worked perfectly.

Gets a lot of static. Not a fan. Have to keep moving it.

I went into my local Best Buy and asked which would be best for an IPhone and the salesman brought me to this item. I bought it for my husband for Christmas. He was eager to use it in our 2007 Santa Fe. He told me it doesn't work as well as the old one that we used to have. A lot of static and very difficult to hear the music.

Devices works as described. The channel scan feature was able to lock in on clear station in my area, which is great

This was my second time purchasing this exact car charger. Delivery was super fast. 24 hours fast.

Transmitter could not overcome local environment sources of static; my previous audio-cabled, fm transmitter did a better job in the same environment. The use of the thunderbolt connector was convenient -- seeming to provide both power and audio out. It was not until I received a phone call while listening to Pandora that I recognized an annoying feature. A phone call caused the transmitter to stop broadcasting on the channel and I had to reach for the phone and put it up to my eye to hear people. That fact put a damper on my hands-free effort. I returned it and finally realized that I could just plug an audio cable into the DVD entertainment center in our recently updated vehicle. Go AUX. Good bye FM transmitters.

Bought this for my son as a gift. I see him using it all the time so I would say it was well worth the purchase!

These things work really well. I use mine every day and I get 2-3 years of use our of them.

This device worked great. Charged my phone while i listen to music via fm radio in my vehicle

It does the job but it won't program my stations. Buttons are to sensitive

It works ok most of the time , sometimes it works its way out of the 12v in the car and it is not as good as the previous versions, had to replace my old one due to iphone plug change. At times I need to plug and unplug it a few times in older for it be recognized as an apple approved charging device.

Unfortunately I was hoping that this FM transmitter would help me put off upgrading the car stereo in my new to me used car. It was a disappointment. I could not even get thru a single song. No matter where I placed the transmitter I kept getting static. I tried to carefully adjust the position & static. make a turn - static. Go over a slight bump - static. None of the preferred stations that the transmitter itself picked would work well. All offered dismal performance. I have used FM transmitters before with great success. So I do know that they can work & work well. I was not expecting audiophile quality from this unit. I just wanted to play some songs stored on my phone or stream some music from my phone. But like I said earlier I could not even get a single song to play without giving up in disgust.

It works great as a car charger and I give the sound quality a 6/10.
