It works well with no issues that I have encountered. There is no delay when connecting the adapter to my Mac or the monitor/projector. The monitor that I use as well as various projectors all correctly go into "standby" mode when my laptop screen turns off and the computer sleeps. They also all come out of standby when the computer wakes up.

I cannot fault it for anything other than it should have been included in the box.
