Works like a charm. I use it on my Dell 27" wide screen in order to view wide Excel spreadsheets. I also use it to watch movies. You do need to output the audio from the mac book air if you need bigger sound as the adapter is strictly video unlike HDMI.

When I need to project my screen onto a 200 inch LED panel screen I turned to Apple. I was able to place Instagram photos via a program called eventstagram. With my MacBook, this connector, and the online app I have been able to increase views, add follower. And project video with ease.

Adapter works instantly with ease - no issues at all. It would be nice if the Mini DisplayPort would fit a little more snug.

I am a student, and this is a must for any college students that need to do presentation, and also have a Mac. One of the best parts about this is being able to do presentation from the Mac using keynote which I feel is much better then PowerPoint for presentations! Great product!

This is a great adapter and good quality. Wish they would make them a little longer.

I bought this to use with my Surface Pro, so that I can use it for Powerpoint presentations with VGA hookups. It works perfectly. The only thing you have to know is that you will need an external audio source to plug into the headphone jack when you are using this adapter.

I ended up not needing it for my Mac mini going into my tv. I asked the people at best buy a couple times, and they said I would. I feel I wasted some money..

I had a pair of these headphones for almost a year but then I lost them. I went into best buy and bought a new pair and they were better than the one before. I personally liked the style of the old ones with silver in the middle but they still work just as great as before.

Never had an issue with these adapters from Apple. I've bought several over the years and they always work.

If you need to project power point presentations you will never be able to live without this.

Works like it should! I use it to connect a second monitor to my MacBook Pro so I can remote in to my work computer. Works very nice to improve size- plus moving from screen is flawless. Can also transfer the -book screen to the other monitor.

Its a great adapter if you want to connect your mac book to the tv. And you only have to set it up the first time, and setting it up is quick and easy. The picture quality really surprised me on how good it was on my 60in" tv. And the sound quality is really nice, obviously a home theater system sounds better than computer speakers, but the sound is still very clear and clean. I mostly use it to watch movies and shows that are stored on my hard drive and I can't complain.

It worked fine for what I needed - instant recognition by MacBook Pro. I bought a new HDMI Monitor since this purchase, so I am not using a VGA monitor and this is no longer needed.
