Customers are saying

Customers regard the MLA22LL/A TKL Wireless Magic Keyboard favorably for its excellent battery life, high-quality keyboard, ease of use, and compact size. Many appreciate its wireless functionality, lightweight design, and sleek aesthetics. However, some find the price to be a bit high and the key travel short. The lack of a number pad is also a common point of criticism.

This keyboard is small, light, silent, and lasts a long time on a charge. Easy to type on. Great for home offices. The one with the number pad doesn't balance well on a lap desk. Highly recommended for Mac users.

Seamless connection with the new MacBook Pro. My son loves it. It is compact and his use does not need the numeric keypad. He got used to it pretty fast and is loving it. I had bought the wired one for him to test as well but he did not need to open its box even. Good purchase on our part.

We purchased this keyboard for my wife's old iMac and they work very well with the older computer. The keys of the keyboard take a little while to get used to them but I have grown to like the feel of the keystrokes. Definitely try them out in the store to make sure they work for you.

I like the fact they finally came out with a rechargeable keyboard, but where is the backlit keys? Logitech's K811 is far superior in typing experience and features.

I got this keyboard to replace the keyboard on my iMac that I've had for many years. The only thing I would like to see with the keyboard would be the ability to have it raise up. Otherwise, it's a fine keyboard for the iMac.

I should have gone with the next model up. This keyboard still does the job but it is too small and I do miss the USB and the separate number keys.

I bought the keyboard to use with my MacBook Pro and iPad. It works seamlessly with both. I connect my MacBook Pro to a larger monitor so its great to have the flexibility to use this keyboard. Also use it sometimes on my iPad rather than the keyboard that comes up.

This is the second magic keyboard I have purchased. Love it! I only needed a new one because it became so dirty under the keys and in taking them off to clean I ruined some of the keys. I'll seek better ways of cleaning next time. Great keyboard if you don't need the 10 key setup.

Easy to swap from old to the new keyboard. No more batteries, cable to connect to charge and great touch feel to type. I have this and the extended keyboard on my other setup.

I wanted to like this keyboard, but I couldn't even make it a week before I boxed it back up and returned it. I bought this keyboard as a replacement to the Magic Keyboard 1 and expected it to be a better product. I was, however, disappointed. The short travel of the keys was awkward at first and never got better. It even started to hurt as I typed on it, which was not acceptable. The size of the keys is also hard to get used to. I found myself constantly shifting my hands to correct placement and still hit the edges of the keys I wanted to press. Connecting is easy enough. All you need to do is connect it with your lightning cable to your computer and the bluetooth setup is done automatically. It's nice that you can charge the keyboard instead of swapping out batteries, but those are perks that will not be utilized as much as the feel of the keyboard. Compared with the original, which had easy enough pairing and efficient enough batter life that you wouldn't be able to remember the last time you switched out the 2 double AA batteries it runs off of, this is not an improvement. If you really want an Apple Magic keyboard, then get the Magic Keyboard 1.

I recently upgraded my MacBook from Mohave to Catalina iOS and needed a new Bluetooth keyboard. This Apple Magic Keyboard replaced our old wireless keyboard from 2009. Installation and connection was seamless.

we have an older version of this keyboard for our imac. i didnt realize that it no longer takes batteries but charges like your iphone. we just keep the charger hooked up to the back of the mac mini and have no problems when it needs a charge. Saves all of those batteries.
