Disclaimer: if you have previously signed up for Apple Music before you will only get one month and not 4. I was very upset to hear this. The rep on the phone told me that initially you use the 3 months when you FIRST sign up for Apple Music and then they give you one additional month. I’ll take the one month but don’t advertise it as 4, don’t be fooled like I was.

I have used my free period and I am paying for this fantastic app, I am just happy with it.

There's a lot of competitors out there that provide the same thing, if you're an Apple/iOS/Mac user then this is for you. It isn't for me. At first I tried third parties for a while like Rhapsody/re-branded to Napster now, then Spotify, but now am on Google Play Music (unfortunately rebranded to YouTube Music) because it just works with my devices and home assistants.

This is an added bonus in purchasing my Apple AirPod. Will definitely enjoy the music more with the improved sound quality.

Apple has songs that Spotify doesn't have. So it's a good deal if you are looking for songs that might not be on Spotify.

Apple Music offers this free trial with a lot of its products. I think it’s a good alternative to Spotify
