    I prefer a wired mouse to one that needs batteries, but I've always bought the cheapest available. I thought a mouse is a mouse so why pay more than the minimum. Bought the Apple optical mouse on sale and love it. It's more comfortable to use, feels well-made, and can be programmed to do more than an "ordinary" mouse.
