The instructions in the box apply to older Mac OS X versions. Because of this I cannot configure the horizontal scrolling. I was looking forward to a non-battery operated mouse with analog horizontal and vertical scrolling for gaming.

Ehhh...save your money

You're better off buying the cordless and it's only $10 more

Not Like The Wireless Mouse

I did the same with the keyboard which works great and has additional features over the wireless one. The wired mouse however is totally different than the wireless one. I do Photoshop work and the wired mouse scroll feature is ridiculous. One would think that the only difference would be that one takes batteries and the other one is hard wired, wrong. I took it back and will stay with the wireless one. Very disappointed in Apple.

Kind of clunky and not super responsive. It is adequate, but I expected more for the price. Next time I will get the $10.00 no name mouse.

Apple makes a useless mouse
