Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the ease of use, quality, and design of the Optical Mouse as significant strengths. Many appreciate its compatibility with Apple products and the comfortable feel. However, some users point to issues with battery life, the wired connection, and the scroll wheel's functionality. A shorter-than-ideal cord length was also a recurring concern for some customers.

After having troubles with wireless mouse I thought I would go old school but it was just,a water of time and money. It didn't work at all the way I expected. I ended up buying a wireless mouse.

I bought this mouse and returned it the next day. The functionality is completely outdated and it cannot compare to the ease of use of the Magic Mouse, or Magic Mouse 2.

If you are used to using an Apple wireless mouse, stay away from this mouse. Right click and other mouse functions are much more difficult to accomplish with the mouse.

An Old Mouse Means No Mouse

After using this mouse for a year, I have found some things that I do not like about it. Although I do love the side buttons, after a while I find that I click them on accident. This happens often when I am dragging items across the screen. Also, the ball on the top of the mouse gets stuck often. Like the ball at the bottom of the old fashion mouse, they tend to need cleaning, but sadly, for this mouse, you can not clean them. I would have to try and move the ball around and get it to work. This is an on and off again project. Since I do not want to fork out 50 bucks for a new mouse, I try my best to get it to work. Right now I can scroll down but not up. Also, when scrolling I have it set up to my dashboard when pushing the button, but since it's not working properly the dashboard will now pop up almost every time I try to scroll. I had to take off this feature, thus limiting the many uses of my mouse. I do like the sleek design and the way it eases into my hands, but with no ball I do not think it is worth it. I would like to have an option to make the side buttons a right click, but I do not think that is available. As a gamer this mouse is a no go, and with no scrolling options it makes searching the web a drag. So, I have maneuvered my way to having this mouse a whole year and a half. Lucky, I would say yes.

I choose to get the wired mouse and key board this past summer when i got a new imac. Im not in to going through batteries so that why a cored mouse is nice. (note: if you are buying this and dont have usb port in keyboard you will need a usb extension cable because the cord is very short and is designed for the mac keyboard or one with usb, lucky if the cables a foot long ) As for the mouse it didn't last long... it has squeeze button on the side that you can set for epose etc.. which works good out of box but as i said i haven't had it even a year yet and the side buttons wont work anymore the scroll wheel is very nice out of box but it gets gummed up and will stop working which require you to get a clean sheet of paper flip over mouse and roll it for a few minutes with alot of pressure every so often Since this doesn't have the left and right click split it can be a pain to click on stuff if you have a small desk and if stuff gets in front of the mouse like you headphone cable it will not click till you move the cable i dont use a mouse pad and it works fine, it kinda flat so i would say test it out in your hand before buying,it weird at first but you get used to it, as for mac this is the worst product i have bought from them so far... as for price i think its pricy but the can be argued i guess

    Good Mouse

Comfortable to use, simple design. I accidentally dropped mine about 2 inches the other day and the roller was knocked out of whack. It will scroll every way but down. Apple won't replace (wear and tear) and Best Buy won't either, same reason. This just gives me an excuse to get the wireless one now. Still a great product.

    Great Mouse!

Smooth operation with or without a mouse pad, scroll button allows 360-degree movement with a small button. Side buttons and click functions are completely customizable through the "preferences, keyboard/mouse" feature of your computer. Very light weight, so little fatigue on your wrist/hand when using for long periods of time. Excellent quality and good price. I highly recommend this product! I purchased online and picked up in store @ Best Buy. Luckily, we have several locations near us geographically, because this product was not in stock at all stores. This particular store had short-term pick-up parking, and an express line for pick-ups - made the process very quick and easy!

    Very Short cord

I purchased this mouse thinking that it would function the same way as the magic mouse does, but it doesn't. You can't scroll sideways to flip pages like you can on the magic mouse. The cord is extremely short and once I plugged it into the back of the monitor it barely reached next to my key board. Needless to say I returned it. For the price I paid, the $8.00 GE wired optical mouse I bought works better. Would love to be able to use my magic mouse but until Apple fixes the "Lag" problem with my mac mini, I'll stick with the GE.
