I mean before this I had my youngest (my oldest would not do it any more) like his fingers, stick them in the socket and hold the other side of the power cord in order to get my extension. Didn’t bother me except he would complain. This stopped that complaining! Now he just serves me bear when I ask.

Because it's not too expensive, I leave one of these behind the couch in the living room and one in the office so if I need power, I can quickly plug my Mac in without having to move furniture.
