In my new warehouse the surge protection is mounted directly on the power receptacle on the wall so it isn't on my desk anymore like it used to be. The surge protector is 25 inches farther than the length of my cable attached to the power adapter. Needless to say, I needed this extension cable. It fits snugly into the receptacle and firmly connects to the power adapter too. I'm very happy to have this cord.

It adds a ton of convenience not having to camp out next to the power outlet to charge your computer.
