Received phone and it did not work!! Very disappointed

phone had unacceptable water damage. returned ASAP

Don't waste time iPhones are broken and not refurb

Bought the phone in June 2017. It came with a scratched corner, but it is certified pre-used and I expected a little scratch. 5 months later the phone internal antennae quits working and is non repairable. I send my phone to CCR warranty and they deny replacement because it is scratched on the outside...BUT IT CAME ALREADY SCRATCHED with a warranty. Warranty company send me a fuzzy photo of the side of my phone with the scratch and say that is why they won't replace it. I told them that this was the way the phone came to me because it was USED. They only repeated themselves. Very impersonal! I had to pay to send them my phone and pay to send them a return mailing label. $30 later, instead of mailing the phone to me, they mailed it to THEMSELVES and I have to pay again to send them a mailing label??? WHAT A JOKE BEST BUY!!!! Best Buy advertises this phone with a warranty on a USED phone. If Best Buy won't make this right, I will go to the news station with this problem!

We bought this phone as a Christmas present around the beginning of December. The phone was in really good condition so we wrapped it. Now, fast forward about 3 weeks later, the battery is a bust. It won't hold a charge for long and it's struggling to even change. We used an app that diagnosed it as a very old worn battery, which makes sense as to why it dies rather quickly after it hits 100% charge. We can't even return it or exchange since there is a 14 day window for returns starting the day you purchase it. We definitely will not be buying any pre-owned phones anymore. I've had good experiences when I have bought new phones, and this was my first time buying a used phone through them. Next time, I'll just stick to the new ones.

I bought a refurbished iPhone 6 approximately 2 years ago and received it in great condition. The software is consistently smooth and the hardware is in perfect condition. The only issue with older phones is that even when they are not powered on, the lithium battery still degrades overtime. My iPhone 6 currently has a battery capacity of 78%, which is not ideal; it can get 2-3 hours time on screen depending on what I use it for. You can spend extra money to get the battery replaced, but it is not worth it for an outdated device. If you are thinking about buying an iPhone 6 in 2020, I do not recommend it. However, this device works wonderfully as an iPod. The storage was more than enough for the hundreds of songs and photographs I had accumulated over the years.

I bought this iPhone 6 64GB for my daughter, and it's a good thing we tested it out BEFORE putting it under the Christmas tree. After a full 12-hour charge (their recommendation in the paperwork) the phone would shut off on its own after about 5-10 minutes. I just paid $280 for a "refurbished" phone, but I just had to take it to an authorized repair facility to pay another $70 for a new battery. That's BAD!! The screen appears brand new, but the gold area around the lightning plug looks like they used steel wool on it - worn and scratched. I will NEVER, EVER buy a used phone from Best Buy ever again - I should have taken the reviews seriously.

Aftermarket glass is not set properly, overhangs the edge for an abrupt feel. First unit i ordered would not hold a charge for more than an hour. Best Buy was good about sending a new one out. Second one received has debris in speaker, glass misfit, and extremely weak or non existent wireless signal indicating poor assembly damaging the antenna. Returned both for refund. Poor refurbisher quality, not worth the money.

Based on previous reviews, I knew purchasing a pre-owned phone through BestBuy.com was going to be a gamble. Unfortunately, the outcome was not favorable for me! The phone looked fine when it came in the mail. I took it to AT&T, got a new sim card, and it seemed fine. Within a day the phone started having weird tech issues. When I go to send a text, the phone starts typing random letters and numbers on its own and won't stop. Then it freezes and I have to restart it. Also, if I'm in an app, the phone randomly decides to open every app I have and no matter what button I push, it won't stop until it's opened them all. It does both of these things multiple times a day and it's extremely frustrating. I have to restart my phone multiple times a day. By the time I got the phone in the mail, found time to go to AT&T , and started to use the phone, the 14 day return policy had passed. I noticed there's a 90-day CCR Warranty for pre-owned phones so I'm going to try that. I can only imagine what a nightmare and how long and difficult the process will be. The main point: Purchasing a pre-owned phone through Best Buy is a gamble! You take a huge risk that the phone is either going to work perfectly or it is going to have an array of tech issues. For all the hassle, it seems worth it to just buy a new phone!

The product clearly states that it is an American model (Model: MG652LL/A RB) But as I drove all the way to the sprint store to get it activated and my data transferred, I was made aware that the phone was a JAPANESE model, and with that comes the inability to disable the loud "shutter" sound when a picture is taken. This is the case with all Japanese models and the sound can not be turned off or even turned down. I can't have that sound going off anytime I take a picture or use an app such as Snapchat that also takes pictures. This is the second time this has happened to me and BEST BUY is the last place I thought would do this to me. Do. Not. Sell. The. Japanese. Phones. In. America. Will be returning this phone immediately and will be purchasing elsewhere. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the time and money I put in to purchasing a phone for nothing to come out of it. Please fix this.

Original pickup date was the 5th, but not until 7pm that day did I receive and email telling me my item had been delayed. Waited another week for it to arrive. The item seemed to be as advertised so I had my old number ported over and set everything up. Not until later did I realize that it in fact had ios10 as the base system, not ios 9 as listed. This was extremely disappointing as I specifically bought this with ios9 in mind. Overall I am disappointed with what I received but I don't have the time to send it back and wait another 3 weeks for a phone. So for now I'm stuck with it.

Bought phone from bestbuy online in July, it’s November now and the screen started separating from the frame. Looked it up and it’s common in refurbished phones that didn’t Use good glue. I’m a month and a half past warrantee and am going having to buy a new phone. Would have been better off not going the refurbished route in the first place because no one Ian held accountable .

I ordered two phones and had to return both. First phone didn't turn off shutter on camera when in silent mode. The screen had dead pixels. Didn't have a problem returning it at Best Buy store. Ordered a second phone thinking this might have been overlooked but the next phone I received was even worst. The screen sensibility is really bad and does not type or swipe. I"m just very disappointed. They should make sure the electronics they sell work properly before sending them out to customers. You would think they carefully analyze and test them but I really doubt that there are experts working on these phones... they would have noticed all the things that were wrong with the phones. I would advice not to waste your time and just buy from other source or buy a new phone. I thought that by buying a pre-owned phone from a reliable store like Best Buy was going to guarantee an excellent product but my expectations were not fulfilled. I'm glad I was able to return and get my money back.

This phone has caused me nothing but problems. I've bought pre-owned phones before and I have never had as many issues as I have with this phone. First, it came with a severely degraded battery. The phone wouldn't hold a charge past 80%, and would immediately die after reaching 80% battery. So I had to pay to get the battery replaced. Fine, whatever. Then, the back camera completely stopped working. Out of nowhere. So it has no back camera and no flashlight. Even though I have tried updating the phone, it still runs super slow with apps crashing constantly. The battery drains incredibly quickly and charges painfully slowly. It's a great price, sure, but you can definitely find a better phone for a reasonable price.

This gets one star because I had to give it something. I would prefer to give it no stars. Well I picked up phone #3 yesterday. The first phone mic was broken. You had to have earphones in to talk. The charging was also bad. You had to wrap the wire in different directions and hold it to get it to charge. The second phone the battery would not hold a charge. When you turned it on it gave that warning. There is no way best buy did not know this battery was bad. Picked up the 3rd phone yesterday and same problem. Will not hold a charge. Died at 98%. Had to charge it to get it to come back on. It has the same battery warning as the second phone had. And what makes this worse is it is more scratched up then the last two. So if I say forget it and replace the battery on my own..This scratched up one is what I'm stuck with.

so bad the battery is so bad doesn't last half an hour and the front facing camera has some marks on it I return it to best buy even the thy charge me restocking fee.

I was skeptical of the price at first for the memory that the phone said but it came and it has the right amount of memory and works amazingly! I’ve had it for awhile now and no issues at all.

i have read mixed reviews on here and it seems like some people get good phones and some get bad. My phone is perfect. The screen is flawless and there are no major scratches or blemishes to the exterior of the phone. Really really minor scratches on the back. Phone looks brand new. Battery life is good and no lag, came with an unoriginal charger but I expected that. I say if someone is on the fence about ordering one of these phones I say go for it. Money well spent.

Bought this for my dad in replacement for the iPhone 5 he had and he is happy

. I couldn't believe refurbished phone will b like this one.. All new , not a single dent, scratch.. Kudos Best Buy!! But As I use the phone I ll give final review..so far very good..
