Remote works well with Apple TV. Recommend a special case for it since it is so small and can be easily lost. Great buy!!

Apple products are always simple to use. And although no detailed big manual comes with the product, it can be used easily.

Purchased for my wife to use with her Mac mini to control her music collection in iTunes. No additional setup was required. Merely point and use. Works with our two Apple - TV units as well. It has a great feel of quality in one's hand. She is pleased as she can control volume, pause and switch between pieces of music as she reads.

Lost the current remote when we moved and had to buy another. Works fine but wish apple could revamp this with the new Apple TV.

You pretty much need this in order to work the Apple TV or you could use the network wifi feature from a laptop.

Lost my original and using my phone is kind of a pain 11o'clock at night. Paired in a few seconds and works great.

Apple TV is great! The remotes are ok! The remotes do tend to breakdown after prolong use (get the Apple TV app)!

Picked up as a replacement for lost one. Love our Apple TV and bought second one for daughter's tv. Love it!

These remotes are okay, but it seems I need a new one every year or so. I only gave 4 stars because it needs a voice search like Amazon Fire has for its Fire product.

Though the creative little device looks great and funtins as hoped, keying in user names and passwords are clumsy. A Bluetooth keyboard is recommended as a side kick

Super glad I found this at a very reasonable price, given we had lost our old remote control to the Apple TV.

My old one broke and had to be replaced, my only complaint is how small it is which makes it really easy to misplace.

Because of the slim small size of this controller, I frequently found myself searching the couch and under things to find where it had been placed. To eliminate a recurring frustration, I purchased another, so I would have a backup! Now I have two controllers, one of which I keep in a secret hiding place! LOL

This was a replacement remote, as I had lost my original. Had no problems at all. Works as soon as you open it.

I love Apple TV and the controls however it seems I have to buy a control for my kids often due to the functions arrows getting stuck. Download the app is free :-)

Apple always claimed Apple TV was a hobby so you have to cut them a little slack for lack of design. When all you had was this, this remote was okay. Now days, this remote is laughable in comparison. However, if you have previous models of Apple TV like I have (3 to be exact) you are stuck with them or the Remote app for your iOS device. This is small and little ones always lose them.

We purchased our Apple TV @ Best Buy 3 years ago. We spilled liquid on the remote and had to replace it.
