    If you lose or break your Apple TV remote this is the only Apple option for replacement if you have the 3rd generation Apple TV. The design is nice in your hands and is simplistic overall. Works well for what is needed.

    The old AppleTV remote was not well-designed, but it served its purpose. The new AppleTV remote is so much better. So, now I keep the old one in a drawer. Yes, the OLD AppleTV remote DOES work with the new AppleTV if you need it to; so I suggest keeping it around just in case.

    The Apple TV remote works well for navigating your Apple TV. Remote has excellent range and works well with no issues. The downside is that like most Apple products, the remote is tiny and we often have to find it in the couch cushions.

    I lost my remote a couple of months ago and found this remote at best buy. It works instantly with no pairing process. I am able to enjoy my apple TV all over again!

    My old remote broke because I spilled beer on it. This replacement was very easy to use. No setup needed at all. Just point and it worked with my Apple TV and MacBook.
