Honestly you just kinda need it.

I NEEDED the remote to set up wifi to use the phone app. It does what it's supposed to do. It's so small that it's crazy easy to lose.

Works Like It Should

It works exactly like it should and I had no problems connecting it to my Apple TV. My only problem with it is that is very small and tends to get lost alot.
