It Works

Dead Battery

After several hours of attempted pairing/unpairings, etc., etc., I finally checked the battery. I was surprised to find out that it was dead. After replacing the battery, everything worked fine. (If your AppleTV does not blink when you press the remote's buttons, (assuming you're close and are pointing the remote correctly at the Apple TV) then I would be suspicious that you too might have a dead battery).

Awesome, Easy to Use
