This remote has very simple connectivity and simple to operate.

Great Apple Product as always, but come on Apple Engineers really You really thought it wouldn't fall in between the cushions and get lost? Or was this your way of having us buy a new one? But someone made a free App that does the same thing now.

My previous remote stopped working and I went to Best Buy to purchase a battery; I saw this brand new one in the Apple section and the price was excellent (a little more than buying a battery). Works fine with Apple TV.

This was my first purchase with Best Buy and they provided excellent customer service and the transaction was easy to make. The Apple TV remote was hard to locate but I was pleased to find that Buy Buy carried it and at a reasonable price.

The remote isnt anything speical, but we needed one bc we lost ours.

This is a great remote for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen apple TV's that don't have Siri like the new 4th Gen units. Great for secondary rooms or as a emplacement if you lose your original that came with the units.

When we lost the Apple TV remote during a move we had to replace it as soon as possible. We really enjoy the Apple TV because we no longer have movies stacked up collecting dust. Definitely a good investment.

Don't forget this while on travel or you will have to get another...

The simple button controlls on this remote makes the size OK I guess. Making it any bigger would not increase the use of the controlls. I misplaced the original remote, and Best Buy was there to replace it with a new one.

If your remote is failing to operate Apple TV, hold it close to the box and press the menu and rewind buttons. It will pair and you will be in good shape. Found this tip after days of frustration and thought I would pass it on!

I use this for my Apple TV and when I use it it also starts thing on my mac which is usually nearby. For example, when I play my Apple TV (press play) it will start ITunes. Not sure if there are ways around this.

The remote for the Apple TV "box' works like it should. But when it runs out of battery life, it has to be replaced. If there was a way to just replace the battery or perhaps recharge it. Things would be better.

Love this remote control, can control mi macbook pro and ipod. The signal reception is amazing, I can be in any place of the room and point the remote to anywhere and still works. The size and portability is great too, i take it with me everywhere I go. It's worth it for the price.

I purchased this to control by AppleTV as well as some of my Macbook Pro 13". I've been very pleased. The only concern is that it does not work for newer MacBook Pro Retna laptops that don't have bluetooth.

I was not pleased with the help I received at the store. I was told the Apple remote did not come with the Apple TV. So, I purchased a lone one only to find the Apple TV box did contain a remote.

This was bought as a replacement for the original which was lost. The unit was reset due to power loss and needs the Apple remote to setup. You can't use the "iPhone" remote for all the setup functions.

Needed remote. Quick and easy way to get remote. Walked in and purchased remote in less than 3 minutes. Would recommend Best Buy to anyone that needs to purchase accessories for their devices
