Fits perfectly, doesn't slip, protects the back and overall feels great in the hand and like a premium product. The only downside to this case is the price, it can be a little cheaper. If your looking for a simple case that won't bulge out too much and protects the back, this is a great solution. As for this case with the smart cover, both work together flawlessly.

Didn't realize this was just the back cover for $70. I returned it and will get a full cover

My only complaint is that when you have the Smart Cover attached and prop it up it wear the back of the silicone case.

It hurts to pay this much for a flimsy piece of silicon.

Useful. But costs way too much for a simple case cover

Case is nice if you are super cautious and you don't have kids or animals around. We immediately changed out this device for a Zagg keyboard case

Product was not what I wanted. I wanted a case that covered front and back.

The keys on this device is not what I thought it was. I was the keys were not so flat and small.

Item does not protect your iPad sufficient, better cases exist

This cover is fine for the back of the device, but you must purchase the front separately

Would give this a 5 if I had the iPad Pro, but I bought a iPad air 2 at Best Buy and I was asked about a case that they recommended me. And it didn't work for iPad Air 2. Would recommend if you have a iPad pro

We purchased two of these iPad cases. Both cases were broken on the side in about 4 weeks. I'm always happy with Apple products but it's very disappointing this case didn't make it longer than a month.

As a long time user of third party back shields on iPads this is by far the best one I have owned as Apple has finally joined in on making a first party one, and it should be for the crazy price Apple is asking. This combined with the Smart Cover is $120 for basic bump, scuff, and scratch protection. It is well constructed and fits the iPad perfectly. The inside is lined with felt and the outside has a nice feeling if somewhat slippery silicone finish. It also has the benefit of being just s little thicker than the camera bump, protecting that from being banged and dragged across things. It has a black ring around the camera opening which should limit odd reflections from coming into the camera causing unexpected lens flares. Overall it is a really nice cover...but the price is very high for what you get.

while purchasing the I pad pro seen the cover thinking it was a complete cover. Returned it.

This cover does not fit a 9.7 inch IPad Pro! It measures 9.5 inches.

Really thought this would be sufficient, but i was wrong...

The silicone case by Apple fits like a glove of course (as expected) but the quality of the material is very high and feels very nice on your hands... as with most of the things that apple does, it's a nice user experience. I also bought the smart keyboard for the iPad and the two fit very nice and do provide great level of protection to the iPad.

I purchased this for my 9.7 iPad Pro and couldn't be happier. It fits well and looks great with the Apple smart keyboard. Yes, the silicone can get smudges but a quick wipe away makes it look brand new again. Neither my camera or charging port are hindered in any way.
