I've owned the cover & the case. I would recommend the case because it protects the device front, back & edges.

The entire iPad is covered, not just the corners, so it prevents lots of scratches. Great product for the money.

This cover does a great job of protecting the screen and is out of the way when open. Not too much or too little.

Overall I think this is a nice, good, sturdy protecting case. I really do like that it turns on/off the iPad while covering the screen, as well as how easily it folks to create a nice base. The only thing this case is missing in my opinion is some sort of cover for the back. I don't want my iPad to get scratched and dinged up so will be buying a different case for when I take on the road with me.

Great product, it covers the whole iPad, however, I think it is a little too pricey.
