It is worth it to protectthe Ipad. Much easier to handle so it doesn't slip out of your hands.

This is technologically an impressive product. Close the cover, the device turns off. Downside is that if you are putting it into a briefcase, it doesn't offer any protection for the back of the device or against dropping it. I think most people will want a little sturdier case. Mine came free with the ipad, so I am happy to have it and still use it at times.

This is my second cover; first was black leather. The grey plastic wears better and stays cleaner. Has a better look. Both covers are held on magnetically and tend to come off easily when picked up by the cover. I like the thinness...makes it easy to take the iPad everywhere!
