    You get a new iPad, you need a new cover. This one does everything it needs to do. No frills but very practical.

    it protects the screen when it's closed and it does wake and put my iPad to sleep. That's about it. It's limited as a stand, only working in one position horizontally and none vertically. The back of my iPod is completely exposed to getting scratched. It is light weight, i guess that's a plus
