    i needed a cover for my Ipad and yes, Apple products are expensive and charge for EVERYTHING! This cover does help protect the front of the ipad but will not protect the ipad entirely. I have to use this for work, otherwise, I would have gotten something else. But if you want basic coverage and protection, this is ok to buy. It uses a magnet to adhere and acts like a hinge. Wish they had the magnet on both sides, one side to act as the hinge and the opposite side to just latch close and easily open. I've had it flop open and detach from the Ipad.
