Great little cover for my iPad. Simple and I like the magnetic strip

I purchased this cover over the others because I have one of the first I-pad mini that has served me very well I had this type of screen cover on that unit and have had no problem. When I up graded to the new mini and went with the same screen cover. Nothing fancy but it works.

I love this Smart Cover. It's not an otter box so don't expect full protection. But for what it's for, it's great.

No more Apple tablets for me, not if they keep pulling these stunts on sizing to sell more product protectors.

I bought this for the new iPad mini gen5 ..... works perfectly ..... it was on sale for $10 less then the one that’s packaged for the gen5’s just because it’s labeled for the gen4’s

So easy when you purchase on line and go to the store and pick it up. Great experience.

Apple quality with an Apple Price $$$. The Smart Cover does a good job at keeping the screen protected, it is missing what the old Smart Cases had... protection for the rest of the iPad.

I take my iPad everywhere for business. I'm not into bulky sleeves, cases, or keyboard add-ons. The default cover protects my screen (and cleans it actually) just fine. Amazingly, it was tough finding the midnight blue in a store, but I did and have been very happy with it.

I bought this to go on my new Ipad Mini. In the past I know these covers had good reviews but after I brought it home I realized that they had redesigned them and that recent reviews weren't that good with solid reasons. The cover is flimsly and slips around when trying to hold the ipad. In addition it also doesn't say latched in the little nitches when trying to use it to prop up the ipad well at all. In this area, I find it useless. I do like how it shuts the ipad off automatically after done using it however. It also protects the screen well. Overall it's ok, but not great. I also think the price is too high.

Nice, but prefer leather and something that will protect the bottom of the iPad as well. The apple logo (mirrored finish) gets scratches as you place down to use and carry in a backpack or briefcase. I recommend because it's better than nothing and less than few options.

Not especially protective but works nicely. When the cover is closed, it puts the ipad to sleep and wakes it back up upon opening. Works as a stand as well. The only problem is the light color shows dirt easily. If I were to purchase again, I would get a darker color.

I am a big fan of Apple Smart Cover, and wanted one that fit not only the front side but also the back side. This is a great product, but too bad I do not see a comparable back cover for the mini.

This cover keeps the mini very light, but it definitely won’t protect it from a fall. Its enough protection for travel in purses, etc so it’s convenient. But we aren’t letting our kids use it.

The smart cover for the iPad mini 4 is a really good purchase because it fits perfectly. One negative is that it is easy to come off and one could drop the tablet if holding it by the cover only.

Cover looks nice and has magnets that snap to the side of the iPad. Also like how it turns the screen off when it closes so you don't have to press the button to turn the screen off.
