Great Smart Cover for the new iPad mini 4, great 2 piece design when pared with the Case.

This is a great cover for my iPad. Very well made and would definitely buy again.

I will still give it 5 stars because the quality and the style is good. But the down side is when you buy this there is no case at the back its not worth it if you are the type of person who loves caring his/her gadgets.

Perfect cover. Durable and beautiful. I always forget to put my iPad to sleep this cover does it for me which saves an enormous amount of battery life. Not to mention it protects my screen.

Purchased a new iPad Mini 4 and was looking to protect my investment. The Apple Smart Cover is just the thing for protection. Also, it fits like a glove and serves as an “on - off button”. Highly recommended for the iPad.

If you're looking for a simple cover that will protect the screen of your iPad mini 4, this will do the job. Although the retail price is steep, you can sometimes find these covers on sale at Best Buy. For the price I paid ($15), it's a no brainer. The cover protects the screen and the "open to wake" screen feature works. The cover is a bit large on one end, but it's made to be used with the back cover, so if you use it with the Apple back cover, the Smart Cover is a perfect fit. I would prefer to buy the OEM screen cover and I recommend this product, but for those who usually buy a third party accessory, this will seem like an expensive accessory.

Other cases and covers were bulky and/or ill-fitting. The Apple Smart Cover is the only one that uses the magnet hinge. 4 stars only because it's very hard to find a compatible rear case if you don't want to spend $59.00 on Apple's. Worth the wait for a compatible after-market back case to come out.

I always prefer Apple covers because while not inexpensive they provide superior protection and are the most lightweight available! I travel with the mini iPad so weight is important as well as protection.
