It hasn't slipped out of my hand since I bought it four months ago. It matches perfectly with the back protector purchased separately. The mini 4 has different dimensions than the first three, so make sure you are getting the right cover for your device.

She uses it everyday in the folded setup to play games and watch recipe tutorials online. It is well constructed and the smart on/off feature and magnetic connection are a plus. Highly recommend any of the Apple Smart Covers for any iPad you have.
