Still a great cover, even though I wish it offered some protection for the back of the device. Super lightweight, barely adds any bulk to the device, and attaches magnetically to the device.

A replacement for the original ipad cover which broke. Works well and protects the iPad screen from scratching as well as helping to keep the ipad screen clean.

Love the simplicity of this cover. Adds no weight and folds back easily.

This case is pretty good. It is sufficient enough to protect your screen when placing on surface. I would recommend other cover is table will be moving from one place to another.

It's fine. I liked the first one I had, but I had unwisely chosen white for that one. Charcoal grey is a more practical color. I hope it will last me for many years.

Simple and easy to use cover for iPad mini. What you would expect from Apple. Just wish it had more adjustments. Gets the job done though.

Cover fits well and stays on. Given the size of the device, it is hard to turn the device on it side and prop it up

this one may be stronger, only time will tell. but the old one seems softer to the touch, and easier to flip open, could also be a negative.

I have an iPad Mini 2, and had purchased a similar Apple cover for that tablet, which had nice screen and unit protection - front and back. For my new iPad Mini 5, I assumed that the Apple cover would be similar - but it is a screen cover only, held on magnetically to the left side of the iPad. There is no protection to the back or other sides of the iPad. Even in the 3 days that I used it, scratches started appearing on the metal back of the iPad. I feared that if I dropped the iPad, there would be no protection whatsoever. So, I've purchased another brand of case/cover which more suitably protects my valued product (and still works as a "smart" cover). It's my fault for not reading in more detail about this "Smart Cover", but I didn't see any warnings in the reviews online either... hence my leaving this one!!

Not sure yet on this new kind of cover! It’s great in the sense that you can easily remove it which I have to do in order to place it in my yoke on my airplane!

My son didnt like it because it doesnt have cover on the back.Other than that the cover is fine if you want to cover just the front side.

This is a basic cover, but it does the job, and I am happy with it. I also have a keyboard that can be used with any size iPad or phone if needed, but I don't do my communication on the iPad but rather my MacBook Pro, so a small keyboard is not necessary for this iPad.

Super easy product - what you'd expect from Apple. My only request would be a thin magnetic back cover as well, but Apple always says you don't need that. I like the tri-fold of the cover. It seems to work a little better on the larger iPads - this seems like the 3 points of folding are off just a bit. Overall though, it does what I expected and I got 25 points for telling you that!

The cover is protective and good looking. But it leaves the back unprotected. Should have had both a front and rear cover.

This is a cover not a case which is just what I wanted. It’s lightweight, automatically turns off the iPad when closed, and automatically opens the iPad when you open the cover.

I’ve tried out several different covers for iPads. These are simply the best when it comes to design and feel. Simple but gets the job done. Have had this one for over a year and it has held up really well.
