Doesn’t protect edges

There is no protection at the edges. I upgraded from a gen 1 12.9 iPad Pro. I had the gen1 folio on that one. The back was a shell that snapped onto the iPad and wrapped around the edges so the iPad was fully protected when closed. This one has a flat panel for the back that attaches with magnets. When closed 3 edges of the iPad are exposed like the pages of a book. I returned it and went with the otter box version that snaps on the back and protects the edges. The flap also has magnets so the flap can be held against the back when open and another flap that protects the Apple Pencil when closed.
