I received the magic keyboard for Christmas, which I love but it was to bulky as far as everyday use and it was only one color. Im currently in a everything white color phase for my desk, so finding this for my iPad cover was great. It's simple and light weight.

This product is sleeve that attaches by magnets, not like the old style that you clipped toy i pad into. I have have several occasions where the i pad has slipped out of the so called case. So far it has not hit the floor but i am affraid it might. I have resorted to using a few small pieces of gaff tape to secure the ipad to the back side of this sleeve. I would gladly take a few millimeters of thickness for a case like my originail air had.

Much better cases that cost less are out there. Not much to this case which is great for a minimalist, which is what I wanted. But the case leaves streaks across the screen and for the price it should be flawless. Not worth what Apple thinks it does. Returned for Targus one. Much better value.

In my opinion any 5 star reviews are clearly fake. Even if I was ignoring all the issues with this binder it is still not high enough quality for the price. Even if it was perfectly useable the value does not match the price. Pros It closes like all the other lids. It opens like all other lids. It has a magnet like all other lids Cons 1. It uses the same material as the third party lid manufacturers but costs nearly 50 dollars more. 2. It does not secure well. The binding is secured by a magnet but the magnet is weak and the cover constantly slips. 3. It has no outer rim protective case like the old covers did which means shock absorption is paper thin. Sure the glass won't break but the components inside an ipad are no different than any device they can take too much damage without shock absorption. I'm not planning on dropping my ipad but I have owned one since the first ipad, I've seen how often accident happens. 4. The biggest con is when using the trifold it applies pressure to the back of the binding so that with little effort it will pull the binder off the magnets. This renders the folio unusable for its main purpose.

Paying $80 for a case might seem steep but love the overall quality of this portfolio. Ive had apple folios on previous ipads and have never encountered durability issues.

I love this product! The color is unique and goes great with my new green iPad! Very cool how you just center the iPad to this case and the strong magnetic force holds it in place! Super cool and I can still see my iPad color, as it’s not covered up!

Nothing wrong with the case does its job, just not worth spending so much even on sale. The case sometimes comes off when my iPad is slightly moved.
