Customers are saying

Customers commend the Smart Keyboard Folio's high-quality keyboard, ease of use, and lightweight design. Many appreciate its protective qualities and how well it fits the iPad. However, some find the price to be expensive and wish the magnets were stronger. The keyboard's spill-proof feature and long battery life (or lack of need for charging) are also frequently praised.

Honestly, the keyboard isn’t good. It’s way too expensive and it feels weird.

Does not fit iPad Air 10'9 2020 at all. Not only the size is way off, Ipad Air 10'9 does not have those 3 magnetic points connector in the back, therefore the iPad won't click and stay in. Best Buy should revise the description of this item. I have to return this.

good keyboard folio but not for careless people

I bought this at the Apple store - so that is why im not a *verified purchase*, but I thought it would be important to share a huge CON on this device. So its a pretty good keyboard folio. Its a very simple design using magnets. THE PROBLEM is the magnets are not strong enough to hold the Ipad air. Don't get me wrong it sticks to the Ipad well but if you were to accidentally mishandle it... the Ipad WILL fall out. There is not hooks on the corners - this uses ONLY MAGNETS. So if you are not a careful person who drops their devices multiple times, or just not as careful as you should be... either buy the apple care or pick different keyboard/case. Its also VERY pricy for what it is.... If they added a way to hook on the ipad and not just use magnets it would be a solid 5/5 stars

It is perfect to be able to work from home and easy to carry whatever location I choose to work from. The keyboard is great because I do not have to charge it for it to work.

Keyboard works really well especially for students. Makes it easy to type notes. Subtracted 1 star for the price, feel as though it doesn't need to be this expensive.

I absolutely love this keyboard. My typing experience has been wonderful. I had the magic keyboard and returned it for the smart folio keyboard. Don't get me wrong the Magic Keyboard was nice. I especially liked the trackpad. However to me the Magic Keyboard would work better if I had the 12 inch iPad Pro. So I wanted a keyboard that lets me still feel like I was using an iPad. I can flip the iPad over and use it as a tablet. The keyboard becomes deactivated then I can reattach my iPad. Once you disconnect your iPad from the magic keyboard you iPad doesn't have any protection. So if you use your iPad as your main device the Magic Keyboard is the way to go. If you're not typing for long periods of time and only occasionally and won't the iPad experience. Get the Smart Folio Keyboard and save yourself the money.

This is a solid, simple keyboard for the iPad Pro, but it’s honestly fairly underwhelming. The only reason I opted for this over the Logitech Folio Touch was because the Logitech case has problems with firmware that cannot be fixed in the near future. That being said, this keyboard is nice in that it’s convenient — no charging or cables required, and the two different viewing angles make it easy to use my iPad however is most convenient for me at that moment. My rating sits at 3 stars, however, because even after purchasing this keyboard on sale ($129), it doesn’t have any shockingly amazinr or premium features that justify the cost. The keyboard itself is nice because it’s quiet, but in reality, it’s not very comfortable to use for long-term typing. It’s good for short term use, but I don’t see myself using this keyboard to do more than send emails or occasionally take notes in class. All in all, it’s an average keyboard, and I only purchased it because it was one of the few pro keyboard I could find that would fold all the way around to enable me to take notes with my Apple Pencil. Unfortunately, this case offers literally no protection for the iPad itself, which means I had to purchase an extra case compatible with the keyboard so I could comfortably take my iPad with me out in public in my backpack. I would only recommend this to someone if it was deeply discounted, meaning $100 or less.
