Didn’t like it to be honest.......................

I got this to go with my new iPad Pro 11 and I love it! It works so well and the keyboard has a great feel to it. (I’m using it to write this review.) The iPad attaches so easily. The viewing angles are great—it turns your iPad into a laptop essentially. Also, I love the grey color. Apple just keeps outdoing itself with its products.

Reviews are all over the place depending on where you read them so I was very cautious about ordering this folio. With that said, I have one complaint that isn't that big of a deal but needs to be pointed out. The folio has two viewing angles that lock rather securely into place thanks to a crazy strong magnet. Some might find the magnet to be too strong but I like it. My issue is that the first viewing angle notch makes the iPad sit at nearly a 90º angle to the keyboard. Imagine the letter "L". This angle is useless unless you are lying on your back with the iPad sitting on your chest. I measured the angle at approximately 79º. That's just a slight amount of tilt. The images on the back of the box are very misleading and make both angles appear to have more tilt than they actually do. Fortunately, the second viewing slot is perfect if you are sitting upright. I LOVE the fact that the folio is held on by magnets. This makes it so much easier to remove. Most cases have a rubber casing that the iPad has to pop into and removing it can be difficult. I also like the fact that when you flip the keyboard portion towards the back of the iPad, it will lock into place using those magnets. This also deactivates the keyboard so you don't end up accidentally typing letters while holding the iPad. This folio is designed to be slim and easy to use. If you need total protection because you are prone to dropping stuff, this isn't for you. Overall, I'm glad I bought this item.

Unlike the previous Smart Keyboard Folio, this new version is straightforward to "unfold" and covers the back of the iPad as well as the front. Another improvement from the previous generation is the additional magnets hold the keyboard to the iPad along the base and the back. This prevents the iPad from accidentally falling forward if it's tipped at an angle on your lap.

The keyboard is sleek and very sharp looking. It takes up minimal space and connects/disconnects rapidly.

Apple always make durable products I hope they make more.

This keyboard is ok I find. It gives the iPad Pro more productivity. I use this keyboard to type up reviews of electronic products and basic email replying. I tried to use it to type up a mictosoft document but ended up just switching to a laptop. It’s work good on you lap as well. At times to me the weight of the iPad does sometimes want to tilt the iPad back, I would javelin like a backlight but the screen of the iPad Pro is so bright so it may not be necessary.

I was hesitant on purchasing this but the more I use it the more I find it invaluable. I tried one from Logitech, but it added way too much weight. This keyboard is completely worth the cost.

The IPad works well together with the pencil. Applications are readily available when requested via keyboard. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase

It feels solid when you attach. Easy to connect. Once connected it is stable. When opening and sometimes closing, if your fingers are close to back at the magnetic connection you can cause it to break loose and iPad falls. Mine did at work and screen shattered. Apple care covering it but planning on using tape or something to secure keyboard. The actual use of keyboard isn't bad. It takes a little getting use to feeling keys when reading and not using keyboard. Poor connection design.

This keyboard does exactly what it says it does, attaches magnetically and covers the front and back of the iPad, however it does not cover the corners or top/bottom of the iPad leaving those areas totally exposed for damage. At this price the case should cover the entire iPad and the keys should be backlit, I almost wish I would've waited for the new Logitech keyboard that runs off bluetooth and is backlit, looks like a much better product and it's cheaper.
