I’ve had this keyboard for about a month now and it has suited my needs very well. The keys are very responsive and I’m able to type quickly and efficiently. The only things I would change...wish the connection between the iPad and the case/keyboard was a bit stronger....I find it separating often and I have to realign it...and also it is very expensive, but it’s Apple so no surprise there.....otherwise a great product.

While I wish there was a little more protection for the iPad, the keyboard itself is fantastic! High-performing and easy to type on.

Found this keyboard folio in the store even though the website said they were out. This one was an excellent rated open box. The price didn’t match for the open box or the normal ones on the counter but the employee took time to override the price to match the online price. $35 off the Apple Store price down the road.

This keyboard is fantastic in terms of typing and key spacing. The connection to the iPad is quick and it effectively offers two viewing angles. I never use the upright angle, but I feel it would be beneficial for looking at the device head on. The keys are durable and the product itself is sleek. Four stars instead of five because for some reason when you fold the keyboard back, the keys are what your fingers are holding onto, rather than a flat smooth back. Overall, best keyboard for this device.

So easy to type while viewing the screen. Like having a full case! Need to be careful opening the case so the iPad stays in place.

Love the keyboard and am very happy I got it, however, for the price you would think the magnets that attach the keyboard to the back of your iPad would be stronger. I find that the part that attaches to the back comes off easily and quite often when I go to pick it up or open it I end up dropping my iPad because of this. Wish it fastened to the iPad more securely. Love the keyboard itself though it works wondefully!

As someone who uses his iPad as a travel companion for writing, having an updated version of the Smart Keyboard is a must-have. Even the simplest change - having the base be a larger, singular piece means it works perfectly on my lap. If you plan on doing any sort of writing work on your iPad Pro, and you don't want to wait for Brydge or other bluetooth brands to introduce their models, the Smart Keyboard is the way to go.

Great design. It is light, compact and portable. It is easy to type and navigate this keyboard. Only two stand options.

I do like this keyboard and feel like it is made from high quality materials, but wish the magnet was a bit stronger.

The Apple keyboard folio for my 11” iPad Pro is very good. It’s actually pretty nice to type on given it’s slenderness and small size. Somehow this combo of iPad/keyboard folio is a perfect middle ground between my 13” MacBook Pro and my iPhone X. Supremely portable, capable in as much as iOS can be and very well built with seemingly high quality materials and components. The three major knocks against this folio are: 1) the lack of a holder or other solution for the Apple Pencil. There must be a clean design solution that could have been added to this folio for the pencil without destroying it’s overall aesthetic. When closed it makes the pencil easy to disconnect and possibly drop and lose. At $129 new (pencil), that would suck. 2) The dang price of this thing! After laying down the funds for the iPad Pro itself, it’s almost insulting that either this folio or the Apple Pencil isn’t included. I guess Apple is keenly aware people, like me, will pay the fee even if we think it’s too expensive. 3) The lack of illumination in the keyboard. For $179 this thing should at least have a lighted keyboard. Full stop. The folio offers good but not great protection for the iPad. If dropped or if the iPad is not positioned properly in the case I can see a scenario where the iPad would come out and get damaged along with the folio. Overall, I still really like this keyboard and what it does well.

Smooth with perfect touch feel. Love it. Fits perfectly on the IPad making it a nice unit.
