First the color was not exactly how it looked in box, I thought it was black not gray. Second, the keys are botbbacklit like some others which made it very hard to see to type. On the plus side, it's light weight, but I still ended up returning it.

It only good for a few months but after that it crash.......

The issue is keeping it attached to the ipad. it works great, but when I'm not using it and want to fold it behind, it is easily disconnected from it. And the other thing that it is missing is a holder for the pencil. This should be an option!!

Enigma; it is Back to the "you dummy, move away from the keyboard" days!

I like the key board as a iPad Pro stand, but as a key board it leaves a lot to be desired. The board tends to lose contact with the iPad. I often have to rock the iPad pro back and forth on the key board contacts to maintain contact. A common complaint on the Apple forum site.

not sure why apple needs to have a loud keyboard. too loud.

Nice but I didn't like the inability to hook up to company email

When purchasing the iPad Pro 12.9", we had asked for a case, not a keyboard. Well, the guy helping us pulled out the keyboard box and assured us it would double as a case. Not so. In trying to install the keyboard to the iPad, it would not fit no matter what any of us had tried. There were several who tried, including someone who currently owns an iPad pro. The written instructions did not match. The pictures they showed were askewed. We wondered if the instructions were written in a foreign language then translated. Needless to say, we took the keyboard back, and picked up a case. At least Best Buy was very accommodating in the return. Our recommendation is to have someone from the Geek Squad put your keyboard on, and see how much fun they have with it.

Works fine. I wish I had bought a lighted keyboard instead.

I have used several of these in the past and they seem to always develop connection issues. They are also not sturdy. The suede-like cover is a dust/hair magnet. Thankfully, Apple fixed this all with the Smart Keyboard for the newest iPad.

It's a great keyboard. I just wish it was a tad slimmer.

Works as advertised. Nothing special. Needs a bacglight.

The Logic Tec blows this away and I'm a big Apple fan

Apple was so concerned with the number of Smart Keyboard failures that they extended free replacements through 2018. In my case they did so twice. Now, my 3rd Smart Keyboard in 4 years has started giving the dreaded "This accessory not supported" every few minutes, and only works intermittently. I've been an avid Apple user since 1985 and this is the most disappointing product I ever purchased, especially because most are wonderful. I suggest you avoid this keyboard at all costs and purchase one like the Logitech model that is lighted and also attaches to the smart connector.

Would not buy this again. Have since tried out the keyboard of the Microsoft Surface Pro, and will never go back. This apple design is limited at best.

Took it back after only a couple of uses. No backlighting. Plus the setup to use the keyboard was too awkward for us. Only use the ipad with the keyboard. Exchanged for a Logitech. It is heavier but sets up easily
