It isn't perfect but is probably the best and smallest keyboard for the iPad Pro. Easy to use for typing longer documents. However it can get in the way when using iPad as a touch tablet.

i got an iPad Pro 12.9 and picked up a smart keyboard in an open box. it does what it should; provides screen protection and has a good keyboard. however, if you can't find an open box you can consider some other options. a negative is it adds weight to the iPad as most do and could have some think about a laptop, but you can get used to it. the top smart keyboard replacements are close to the same price as Apples but many are more. do you need one? that is up to you. it does add to the flexibility of the iPad and gets a lot closer to a laptop. remember bluetooth keyboards will work. while i say i would recommended it to a friend this addition is more of a personal preference.

You know what is better than just a regular old keyboard? One that flips into itself and protects the screen of the product. Apple nailed it with their keyboard keeping this device lightweight!

My husband couldnt be happier with this early Christmas gift!! We are an Apple product family and they definitely outdid theirselves with this IPad!! Best Buy is a wonderful place to buy/upgrade cellular products. Our salesman was awesome! Very knowledgeable and helpful with no pressure!

I love the feel of the keys, both in texture and in key movement, and I love the convenience of the Smart Keyboard but the magnetic attachment (keyboard to iPad) isn't strong enough. I had other complaints in mind when I set down to write this but I'm realizing now that that they are not true complaints, just things I need to adjust too. Such as, I don't care for the way the keyboard feels when I have it flipped to the back of the iPad (flat against the back of the iPad/not in use) but in most instances I could have detached it and been pleased.

Great quality, very responsive keyboard and a great stand and case. Personally think it's far superior to the Microsoft Surface's keyboard cover.

Bought the. Ew iPad Pro. Was glad there was a matching keyboard cover. Fits like a glove and has a great QWERTY keyboard when I’m not in the mood to use the touchscreen keyboard.

Love the new keypad. in the past we had to rely on bluetooth items from aftermarket suppliers. Apple hit the mark with this OEM product.

Love the Apple Smart Keyboard! Excellent design. Strong magnets. Keys have good feel. Even when not using keyboard, alternate position provides good support for screen in my lap.

Love everything about it, sharpness, size (we got the larger screen). No complaints so far but we purchased the pencil and it’s a bit awkward. The keyboard is a must!

I HAVE BOUGHT MANY KEYBOARDS THAT DIDNT LAST LONG. I REALLY LIKE THIS ONE BECAUSE IT DOESNTHAVE KEYS THAT CAN POP OFF. Its easy to connect to ipad and doesn't have to be charged up

This keyboard fits nicely on my iPad Pro. It feels great and looks nice on it. I have it on my iPad all the time. Although the keys are small, typing on it feels comfortable.

Easy to use, protection from spills and dirt, and allows quick typing and navigation in the iPad. The only downside is that the keys are not backlit, but that is a minor inconvenience.

This Keyboard is great. I needed to use my iPad Pro for documents and this keyboard basically turns it into a laptop. It’s light and convenient. I like that it attaches easily to the iPad and I can use the protective back cover from my otter box symmetry case. It still keeps the same cover that opens/sleeps the screen. Two downsides: Since it isn’t backlit, working in darker settings stinks. And the price should reflect that lacking feature. Otherwise, awesome product.

For the price the keyboard shoud come with a back·light. There is also an issue with weight when used as a cover. The cover will open easily if you tilt the iPad slightlty. Only one typing angle. There are some positives. THe keys are spaced nicely and the keyboard never requires charging. IT is comfortable for prolonged use. I use it with the Coda 2 app to wrinting javascript. The price point is high. Get it on sale.

Happy with quality but wanted a harder case for back of iPad. Returned for that reason but very unhappy with Best Buy’s return policy’s won’t buy from them again

This low-profile keyboard is easy to use and feels nice to the touch. I'm not sure (exactly) how it integrates with the iPad, but it's not Bluetooth and it doesn't use batteries, so it's always "on" and effortlessly connected. Lastly, it folds to create a stand or (semi-) protective cover.

This keyboard works great!! It interfaces nicely with the iPad and works seamlessly. The price could be a tad better but it does exactly what it needs to do.

Keyboard is fantastic. I was surprised by the feel of it. I played around on a cheaper one at Best Buy but I opted to get the Apple one. It all just connects so obviously and it acts as both a case cover and a keyboard or stand so intuitively. The only thing I would recommend against is trying to transform it in any creative way. The magnetic system is carefully and amazingly designed to work flawlessly when opening and closing the keyboard from a cover to a keyboard and back. Any smart ideas or careless handling can potentially cause the keyboard to come off. Use as intended or you may drop your iPad Pro.
