Good keyboard, although not backlit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had tried a logitech keyboard, which was heavy, but had a nice backlit keyboard like my Macbook Air. The Apple Smart keyboard covers the screen when not in use, and folds up nicely to use when I type. It is much lighter than the logitech, yet I miss the backlighting. Since I am using it at home, not on a plane, it is easy enough to turn on a light.

The keyboard to match the 12.9" iPad Pro.

The form factor and lack of dedicated battery makes the keyboard less than perfect. It also adds a noticeable amount of weight to the iPad Pro and it is quite expensive. It is difficult to find a good fit as far as a keyboard is concerned for the iPad Pro and although perhaps not perfect, Apple's keyboard is the best match.

The keyboard/carrying case is small for a man's fingers and the language has to be frequently adjusted back to English. The machine is clumsy to use in one's lap with the externally attached keyboard. Speed is good and overall functionality is pretty good.

I wound up spending the money on the Smart Keyboard and it was well worth it! It took me no more than a couple of emails to get used to the feel and I love it! Especially with being on planes every week, this really fits the bill. Definitely recommend.

Great Refurbished Keyboard

When they both arrived, I tested the refurbished keyboard thoroughly before returning the other one to the store. The end result was me saving nearly $75 and getting a great product. No issues so far. Just enjoying the heck out of it.
