The best feature of the Apple Smart Keyboard is its direct connectivity to an iPad Pro. It is, however, too subject to collapsing when set up. Also, I could get only one of the claimed two viewing angles. It is also not backlit, and black keys on a black keyboard can be difficult to see. Finally, it does not protect the bottom of the iPad Pro chassis; it does protect the screen reasonably well. I decided to return it and look for a keyboard case that protects the whole iPad. It's a good idea, but it needs refinement.

This keyboard hooks up seamlessly to my ipad pro, works great and has a cool texture. I only wish that I could adjust the angle of the ipad since there is only one angle for the ipad to take when it is paired with the keyboard.

Love this keyboard. Works perfect. Feels amazing. Typical Apple quality. You can use it as a Smart Cover or take it off and carry it as you would a Bluetooth keyboard. Love it. Yes, it’s pricey. All Apple stuff is. But worth it.

The only reason i'm giving e stars is because even on a table surface, it still has issues weight the weight of holding the big iPad Pro. I find myself having to play with it in order for it to actually work. Other than that, it's comfortable to write in and serves its purpose.

Keyboard didn’t work and returned to Best Buy within two days

I'm an apple fan. I have two MacBook Pros and have had every iPhone since they were released. My wife and daughter both have iPads too. The pro 12.9 is amazing and frankly, coupled with the smart cover keyboard is as good as a laptop

Great addition to add to the ipadPro.. Well worth the money.

The keyboard is amazing. The feel of the cover is excellent. I just wish that Apple provided a back cover with this purchase as well. I don't like not having the back protected and I don't like after market back covers

Purchased 12.9 iPad Pro to replace my wife’s original iPad.

My only gripe with the keyboard is that it would be wonderful to have the addition of backlighting. Otherwise, I became pretty adept at typing on it within about 10 minutes, and it does not seem to have much of a negative affect on the iPad's battery life. I am happy to report that I also have not had any issues with it damaging the screen of the iPad when it is folded up, which I have heard is a major problem with some of the other 3rd party solutions out there.

Love the full-sized keyboard and for me, typing is very pleasant. Love that I don't have to pair it or recharge it since it connects to the iPad so easily via the Smart Connector. Sadly, no function keys and no backlighting.

The touch and click of keys is soft and nice. folds nicely!

Love this keyboard. It enables me to use my iPad for almost anything at work, it now fully replaced my pc by giving me the option to type easily. I love the way it stands too. A great and practical product.

A keyboard is nice for the 12.9 iPad. I find it difficult to type on-screen as a transition from an iPhone being so small to the huge iPad. It folds over to protect the screen when not in use, or behind if you're holding it.

iPad is the most amazing tablet. It is capable and the best

as a laptop replacement, this is a must have for ipad pro.

Apple know what they are doing when is comes to accessories
